Smith Carrickmacross Ireland From: Lpool [Liverpool?] 30 March 1847 Dear William, I should have sent you the invoice of Flour but conceived you could ascertain from what I had already stated within a fraction of the amt [amount?] The Buck Wheat per enclosed goes by Thursdays Boat- Tis a great pitty [pity?] either Mr Kennedy or Mr Morant would not spend a day here just now in the heat of Emigration - they would find things out they never dreamed of - Tis probable the parties would under the offer made have to supply themselves fully with Bread stuffs which would make a very considerable difference However let him try & find who will trouble themselves with his business. Most truly yours Thos [Thomas?] Elliott You will perceive the Flour acct [account?] is made up to Saturday when they expect to be paid up |
