My Dear Cousin
I received
your very kind and welcome
letter and we were glad
to hear of you all being
well as this leaves us all
in the enjoyment of one of
our greatest blessings good health
we have beautiful weather now
and about two inches of snow
I get the papers you send
me all right and we like
the pink papers they are
so full of jokes and also
the pictures of the town hall
I get them every week which
I am sure is a great kindness
of you to send and you may
be sure we appreciate them
very highly for they almost
make us think we are nearer
to you than we are, I felt
a little dissappointed [disappointed?] that
I did not get your picture
but I know Dear Cousin that
you will send it to me as soon
as you get it but I can assure
you that we are thinking long
to see it and any of the family
that would send theirs we would
be very thankful for it and I
think you are right about me
resembling my Grandmother
for I have dark eyes like her
you wanted to know if my
husband belonged to Belfast
he was born in Canada and
his Father and Mother both
came from the County
Tyrone his Mother's Maiden
name was Margaret Beatty
and she came from a place
called Sky you wanted to
know how my Brother and his
family is he has not been
to see me this two years
and I have not had any
letters from him He did not

#PAGE 2
want me to know anything
about this money nor to talk
about it but he used to tell
me that it was in the Bank
for me and I have began
to think that perhaps he
did not want me to know
that anything was there for
me and keep me in the
dark about it and it would
come to his family as I have
none of my own children living
I am positive he knows where
My Aunt lived and I think
he just wants to let it stay
where it is and it will be all
right some day for his family
I am sure it is there and I
would like to get what is coming to me.
