| Transcript | Letter from Catherine Gallagher Addressed to: Mr. Thomas Gallagher, care of Mr. Patrick Sharky, Cincinatta [Cincinnati?] Ohio US Brockville 29 April 1847 My dear Brother I have just received a letter from my father in which he says our friends are all well. It gives me great pleasure to know where you are, that I might at all events have the pleasure of writing to you. I don't intend to say much until I receive an answer to this in order that I may then be perfectly sure where you are - My brother John has been here since the First of March, and left yesterday for Black Brook, State of New York. As soon as he gets through with some business then he will return to this [place?] about the 1st of June. John and I have been very uneasy on account of not knowing your whereabouts. You write therefore on receipt of this. Write and say what you would think of John and I going to where you are. Write me fully and let me know how you are getting on. Nothing further until I receive your answer which I hope will be without delay. And remain My dear Brother Your affectionate Sister Catherine Gallagher.
