| Transcript | October the 7th 76 Dear Sarah I received your letter that was wrote in June I got it this week I was away up in British Columbia all Summer in the cassiar mines and I made no money there only just Enough to get out of it I am sorry about my mother if I had any money I would Send you some but it is not in my power at the present time I will have to try and get work as soon as i can I was sorry about your brother being in so ill health Dear Sarah I hope the time will come when I will be able to make it all right [alright?] with you for the trouble you have had with my mother I got no letters from William since I send my love to my mother and to you all I remain your affectionate cousin James Gamble |
