Dear Niece
We arrived
here today at 3 oclock P.M.
can tell you but little about
London, will write again
and give particulars.
Last night we staid [stayed?] in
Liverpool, the night before
on the Boat, the weather was
fine & the sea calm, not
much seasickness on the Boat
we escaped, direct your
letters & papers as follows
41 Torrington Square
London
England
Respectfully yours
John Gass
N.B. Mr Glenn was still drunk
when he left Warrenpoint
he has sold & gave away all his
ornaments, struck his wife
& broke all the dishes he could
find -
