Dear Cousin
In answer to
your letter which I received in
due time was glad to hear of
you being well we are all well
here at Present. I think we
are going to have a very wet
Summer this year it is raining
every day it will not be as
easy getting the turf gathered as
it was last year we will have
the gravel all out in about
five or six days it is far better
than it was last year but not
as easy to get it.

[Page 2]
Tomorrow is the bench so we
will get another idle day if
it does us any good. The band
is for the Plum [Plumbridge?] tomorrow
evening we are going to Omagh on
the 12th this year it will be very
far but I suppose we cannot
always stop at home. We will
have a very small band this year
we will want the Gordons this
year on account of their father
being dead I think we will only
have about twelve fluters.
Robert McFarland has got
married at last she is one
Miss Fulton they were married
in Strabane stamp office by
the clerk of the union there
was no wedding.

[Page 3]
Well you want to know about
the Miss Dunbars I think they are
doing well as far as I know.
They dont come up this way now
at all nor we dont go down often
to see them either. They are very
great with the Campbells now so
that is a change [judice?] when this
letter reachs you you will be
through with your examination.
I hope you will come through
all right [alright?] Matthew & andrew has
no argument now at all. I was
not able to make out any of the Latin
so when you write again let me
know what it was I have
no more to say at Present
But remain yours (sic) Loving Cousin
Willie Gilkison
Castledamph
I will give you all the news about the Bnch [bunch?]
Next week.
