Mr. J Smyth

Dear Friend

Just a few lines
hoping to find you in
the best of health as
it [becomes?] me at present
Well things are
just about the same
as when you left
I saw in the
paper that you arrived
at the end, of your journey
safe & sound & I hope
you will have a pleasant
trip & allso [also?] so found your
folk & all in best
of health
The [Kingsville?]
Bowlers were up last
week & beat Essex three
points & Ridgetown
Bowlers played here to
day [today?] & Essex beat them
four points
Well we will be
looking for all old
Country [Rayair?] when you
come home
As I can not think
of any more I will close
wishing you a safe
journey back
I remain friend
As Ever
H. P. [O'Connor?]
