My Dear Sir
James Brown who has
lived with me for 17 years is going out
to Philadelpia to try his fortune, you
will particularly oblige me by procuring
him a strong introduction to a respectable
Mercantile House, who might be of
use to him - He has acquitted himself
on all occasions to my perfect satisfaction,
is sobing and diligent in the
extreme, the utmost Confidence may be
placed in him and am sure he will
do credit to the Town he leaves-
Beleive me very truly
