I remain in good health.

Dear Cousin

Just a few more lines
to you and my Dear
Aunt and Uncle and
all my friends hoping
they are still in good
health and had a good
time for farming.
Dear Cousin I am just
thinking again how
nice it would be on
furlough again with
all you young, people
again for Christmas
sitting around the turf fires
I would like to be with
You I could tell some little
tales of being out here.
Dear Cousin we leave this
Station the 3rd of Dec. and
March to [Meeint?] so we shall
have Christmas day on the
road I don t know where
we stop for it.
Dear Cousin I received a
Letter from Maggie McFarland
a few weeks ago she tells
me she is doing alright and
likes the place well I also
received an American paper from
her which I thank her
very much for so you see I
am in Love with friends
in america I answered her
letter nice and Loving I
also wrote to Cousin
James how is Roberts baby
doing. Dear Cousin I hear
my Father is pensioned off
the police force also our
Lizzie is about to be
married I dont hear very
much from them but I am
not troubling much so
long as I get a bit of
news from you and my
other friends I like to
hear from you all.
Dear Cousin I am sending
you a small parcel containing a
few handkerchieves for you
Lisa and Mary also a set of
studs for Tom. William, Charles
and a set for Uncle I shall
send Aunt a present later
I don t see anything here
suitable for her yet.
Dear cousin I think I
Have said all this time
I wish you all a Merry
Christmas and a happy
New year give my best
respects to all.
I remain your loving
Cousin T. [Tommy?] Hay to BMS [Bella Mary Smyth?]
