TranscriptDear Parents January 3 1802
I have wrote to you to see if you
will do me the favour to pay the
sum of 10 Guines [Guineas?] to Richard Burk
and you will oblige your son
James Horner. I have sent one

lost I thought it this way better
if it comes to hand you will get a
Reseat [Receipt?] in it but if not this way
sefise [suffice?] I have red. [received?] the money from
Wm. Burk the 23 Feb 1802 (1) and I
will write to his father concerning it.
You need not be affread [afraid?] that
it is nessity [necessity?] that puts me to it
only I thought it might be of
more youse [use?] to me now than again
I hope you will not dissapoint [disapoint?]
me and my neighbours as I will
remit it as soon as possible if
you have it not you can get it
without much trouble as it will
not be long if the Lord spears [spares?]
me health nor is it asking any thing
off you for I would be very sorry to
ask any thing that I thought would hurt
you. I suppose the family is all living
together as yet and I am convinced that
he will not say against it.
I need not say any more this may
sufise [suffice?] at present
I have wrote so many I have
nothing meterial [material?] only that I am
well that is the Greatest Blessing
I hope none of you will omit writing
to me let me know how all family
affairs is from the least to the
greatest. I hope you all will
