Rev. Mr Kirkpatrick,
Dear Sir Although I am not personally acquainted with you I
take the privilege of writing a few lines to you I hope you
will excuse me of my freedom and grant me my request.
What I want to know is if your Rev. [Reverance?] would be so
kind as to let me know in what part of America one young
woman is in at present who was under your instruction some
time past and a son of Joseph Huston of a Ahoghill Glebe A
member of Beu, D, Lees Church which church heard you preach
in more times than one

Dear Sir I left Ireland on the seventeenth of last and came
to to America for to make a better of it I know I left a
good home but I came to a better country I would wish to see
a aquaintance from home this young woman lived in Beu,D,Lees
when I was at home in my Fathers She came to America a
little before me she left Beu, D, Lees some time before she
left Ireland when she left Beu Lees she did not know she was
for America nor did she know that I would be here. I had a
great interest in her She told me you took her in your
carriage to Ballymena Church to be confirmed

Dear Sir she had lived in her Fathers and had a [----?] on
her fast at the time of her confirmation She was in your
class making ready by you for Conf__ I was prepared by Dr.
lee and was confirmed on that day by Bishop Connor You
Gentlemen gave us all our dinner and a good advice to go
home with
Dear Sir this young girls name is Jane McNalough
her name is Jane McNalough or Jane McNaelough please Dear
Sir let me have her directions from her Fathers folks and I
will be forever obliged to you you I am yours truly Thomas
