TranscriptMy Dear Robert
You left us all with sorry hearts today
I cannot tell you what I feel when I
think that I shall never see you coming in
and out againe [again?] but I hope this thought won't
be true I trust we shall meet you again on this
Garden and in yonder happy plains when
we shall part no more & strive my dear
Brother to love and serve God and happyness
[happiness?] will be your portion in time and in Eternity
be shur [sure?] and write to us and tell us if you
were home in time with the horse tell us how
all your things were got down and if you have
put up your close and when you are to goe [go?]

them let us know how you are since you
