My dear Jane Nettleton:-

I received a letter from you dated November the 17 we were
much surprised to here [hear?] you received none from us
Dear Jane we are all happy to here [hear?] you been well since you
had your Sarah Elinor McConnell Nettleton My dear Jane we are all
in good health at present thank God for all his mercies to us all.
hoping that these few lines will find you All in the same only
Langford McConnell is not in good health he and wife and children
was at out [our?] house on Christmas Day last. we would like to see
you All here that day Langford is still living in Antrim selling
groceries your brothers and sisters desires to be remembered to you
All and also your Aunt Sarah Manderson her kind love to you I am
hapy [happy?] that William Nettleton is so good a husband to you and
hope he will be a good father to all my friends there and give them
all a good advice and may God bless you is my wish. My dear Jane
you wish to know Elinor [Eleanor?] Chile [Child?] is coming on it is
a fine chile [child?] as you would see it is still with a nurse yet.
My dear Jane on Comon [uncommon?] happy she is still with you and I
hope she is still with you and I hope she will do so and take your
and Sarah advice Markets is as fowels [follows?] -oatmeal as 10d
per -- wheat 7s 6d per hh [hundredweight?] potatoes 2s 6d to 4s per
hh. [hundredweight?]. pork 4s per hh. [hundredweight?] butter 8d to
9d per pound. Betty rote [wrote?] to Sarah McKeen as soon as this
come to hand write to me all the particulars about you all. I must
clude [conclude?] your mother joins her love to mine to all to death.
