Deare [Dear?] friend Annie
I received your kind
and welcome letter
a few days ago and
was glad that you
was well as this leaves
me in good health
we have had a good
deal of rain the last
week or to [two?]
I have been drawing
suplyes [supplies?] and i had more
time to write so you
will have to excuse
me for this time
I hope mrs Edgar and baby
is doing well
I suppose Tom has
another woman by this
time in scottland [scotland?]
I suppose you feel
lonesome since your
sister left I hope she
has done well
I heard from Southfield
once since the 4 of July
from Megan so i dont
know how they are doing
down there but a
Bell is able to skim
the milk
I have not much news
send you this time so i
will close for this time
hopeing [hoping?] to soon
