| Transcript | New York Jany 12/56 [12 1856?] Dear Joseph I arrived home on Thursday afternoon - after passing through the accident on the Hudson River Rail Road [Railroad?] on Wednesday - I got off with a few bruises which I expect will not hurt me much, I am down at business but am a little lame - My legs and arms were bruised - My Wife and child are well the baby has six teeth through and is getting nine - hope you are all well - My respects to all yours truly A McFeeters |
