Dear Brother
I received your letter Dated ye 22 of November 1790 which
gave me great Satisfaction To think that ye should be at Corispondence
[correspondence?] betwixt you and I since my Brother is gone and
sister in law who died the 11th instant and I am almost here without
Brother or Sister save Elizabeth and Mary. Brother Wms [William's]
children is well and doing well and careful of their bisness
[business?] since their father Died you complain of me for not writing
of the Deaths that was amongst us but I did not neglect writing of
them Every one you speak of the high rents makeing [making?] the
tennants [tenants?] richer but the Dearth of the Land in
Irland [Ireland?] Is making a great many of the inhabitants to ship for
Philadelphia william Demistone widow and family and John Demistone widow
and family has sold their Land and goods and is now propairing
[preparing?] for amarica [America?] you tell me that you are upon
the Decline no wonder for I feel my self much in the Decline
tho [although?] I Always enjoyed a Double proportion of health
thanks be to god for it you Desier [desire?] to know the sertain
[certain?] years of your age and as nere [near?] as I can Learn they are
fifty four sister Elizabeths old daughter is Dead and left three
three children behind her I think our Numerous family is Declining
both the young and old turn over Brother garet Setton hath taken
to himself Martha McCalan for a second wife and is gone to live with
her and hath settled a good settle[ment?] upon his children
