[Page 1] Windsor Mar 30/18 Mr Jas A Smythe, [James A Smyth?] Kitchener, Ont. [Ontario?] Dear Mr. Smythe [Smyth?], Just a line to thank you for leaving my name out of your case at your late trial. I have been under the doctor's care for the last 3 months and as I knew it would only do me a great deal of harm to appear at such a time I told my husband to inform you of [Page 2] the circumstances. However I was glad to hear you won out. Have lost my Interium [Interim?] Second Class Certificate and ask your advice as to whether I am entitled to another one and to whom I should write to get one. I would like to frame it as a souvenir of old times. We still live at 200 Dougal Ave and any time in Windsor you happen to come our way don't forget to drop in.
