| Transcript | To Thomas Greer Merchant Dungannon Ireland Per Capt[ain?] Sparks via London From: Philada [Philadelphia?] 11 mo[th?] 25th 1769 Lov: [Loved?] [Loving?] Kinsman Thos [Thomas?] Greer Annexd is a Coppy [Copy?] of Last since which we have Rec[eive?] None of thy Letters inclosed [enclosed?] thou will receive Beache [Bache?] & Cuthbert draft for 74.7.10 1/2 Ster[lin?]g it bring the second, the first of same tenor and date we hope thou will receive ere Long, we allso [also?] inclose [enclose?] thee Willing & Morris first of Exchange for Three hundred pounds Ster[lin?]g Thirty days [sight?] on Samuel Vaughan Esq[uire?] in London, which we believe will only paid, we have disposed of about one half of the Linnens [Linens?] Last rec[eive?]d but can assure thee very little of the Cash has not yet come to hand however as bills is so very Low thought best of purchase and make thee a remittance, we dayly [daily?] expect to receive another quantity of Linnens [Linens?] from thee, we desire thee to have due regard to the repeal of the revenue acts in ship[p?]ing Linnnens [Linens?] until that is the case we cant have any by way of england, thou may be advised by thy Friends in London as soon as the Acts is repeald and then send the Linnens as usual, when thou sends the next quantity thou usual[l?]y sends, of 7/8 at 10d. 11d. &12 shipd; allso [also?] 5 to 10 pieces 7/8 at about 2/- as some of our Friends wants such some times Allso [also?] 10 to 12 of fine y[ar?]d wides from 2/6 to 3/9-the rest as is usual, we are frequently asked for Irish sheeting And wo[ul?]d have thee to send us 30 or forty pieces the price Not to exceed 12d if the acts is repealed send by way of Liverpool but if not ship em [them?] from Dublin as soon in the Spring as possable [possible?] let the Sheeting be very Stout & Strong as allso [also?] the Coarse linnens [linens?] for your thin flimsey [flimsy?] linnens [linens?] will not sell well here, Sooner thou can dispatch the Sheeting the better they are very Scarce and if we receive them early in the Spring may meet with quick sale we shall write thee ere long by ves[s?]els directly to Ireland our wives Joynes [Join?] us in dear Love to self &Cousin Sally & all other Relations, who we shall write to ere long 300 Stirling Exchange 300 thy affectionate At 52 1/2 percent 157.10 - Cousins ________ Saml [Samuel?] & Jno [John?] [Jonathan ?] Morton Currency 457.10 which please to note in thy Books accordingly Price Flaxseed 4/6 per bushel S & J.
