TYRONE ORANGE HALL BUILDING & REPAIR FUND

Omagh 14th April 1898

Dear Sir and Brother,
Will you kindly bring before your
Lodge the claims of the above Fund.
The Tyrone Orange Hall was never properly
finished and it is felt that it would be a most
suitable way for the Orangemen of Tyrone to
Counter-celebrate the Anniversary of '98 by completing
their County Hall and putting it in such a state
of repair as will make it a credit to the Institution
to which it belongs
It is intended to thoroughly renovate the Hall
and to supply much needed accommodation in the form of
Caretaker’s rooms Lavatories,&c,&c, and it is for this
purpose that the present Collection "and Bazaar in
November next" have been undertaken.
The County Grand Lodge of Tyrone meets
every November in this County Hall, and any
member attending its Meetings can assure you of the
want of accommodation in the Building and its
present need of Repair. If every Lodge in Tyrone
subscribed the small sum of £1 we should be able
to undertake the necessary work at once.
Will you kindly, therefore, lay this matter
before your Lodge and solicit from it a subscription
for this work and by so doing you will greatly oblige

Yours Fraternally,
CHARLES MULLIN W.M. L.O.L. 850
Chairman of Committee.
WM. [William?] ALEXANDER M'CAUSLAND [McCausland?]
Secretary Omagh District Hon. Secretary to Committee
JOSEPH DILLON L.O.L. [Loyal Orange Lodge?] 937
Treasurer

P.S. Subscriptions will be gratefully acknowledged by
any of the above
