Re Denis Rafferty's farm in Cargaclogher

Dear Sirs

as directed by your clerk Mr Farr enclosed you
have draft Poster for sale of above farm for your
supervision and you will observe that I did not
measure the farm when I acted for Rafferty in the
Land Court which was prior to July 1895 but took the
acreage he then gave me 5a [Acres?] 3r [Roods?]
29 p [Perches?] Irish which is 9a 2r 17 statute
If you can put your hand on the original notice for
fixing the fair rent or get the acreage from the
County Council office otherwise if you wish I will
scale it off the ordinance survey map
I dont know the rent but you do You can fix the
day and hour to suit yourself as I presume
some one out of your office will attend the sale,
hence I put in 11 o'clock am so that you can return
per the one o'clock train the sooner the posters
are out it might be better for the sale owing to
the enormous prices given for flax ground this year
I have got over ÷15 per acre in Granemore yesterday
with best wishes
Your faithfully
John Nugent
