Transcript | Ottawa October 25th 1874 My dear Mama, There was a Christening this morning at our church. We had tea at the Fletcher's yesterday, and we played at a great many games. We have begun to learn our parts in the Play; it is printed in a little book. It was so warm yesterday, just like summer. A bar for turning head over heels, and a knotted rope have been put up for the little ones. They are much pleased with the books that you sent them; Hermie is very anxious to learn about "Froggy". She sends you her love, and thanks for your nice letter. Give my love to Papa, and thank him for writing to me. I am Your affectionate Terence. |
