To: William Redmond, [Fenaghy?], [Co. Antrim?], [Ireland?].

From: Rowland Redmond, New York, U.S.A.

New York 29th July 1869

Dear William
As usual I leave my Tin box in your good Care
It contains all my securities in your charge and also a list
of the same -
You will find that I have cut off the Bonds
and placed them with Wm [William?] Redmond Jr [Junior?] for
safe keeping but the coupons I have left with you for collection -
The only exceptions being a Bond of the Union club for $500x
and 5 Bonds of the Troy & Bennington Rail Road which are
payable on 1st January next. 1870 - If these last Bonds
be not only met I am not willing to renew them a second
time at par - so if you think the security good you might
renew them at the price such Bonds would command in the
market which is the usual course -
You will also find in the Box a sealed package of Bonds the
coupons of which I have left with Wm [William?] Redmond Jr
[Junior?] for collection and these you will find particulars of on
my list
You will also find an order on demand on Wetts &
Redmond to pay you the balance of my account with them.
also an envellop [envelope?] containing letters from Wm
[William?] Redmond Jr [Junior?] and Wetts & Redmond -
Please open any letters
addressed to me which you may judge are not private -
If at any time.......
