My dear Willie
I was very
sorry not to have seen
you on Monday. I just
missed you at Farm
Lodge and also at the
office.
I have a letter
from Uncle Henry in
which he says that Gould
had written him that
14300 shares out of the
15000 had signed the
agreement between the
New Jersey Zinc Co and
Moses Taylor and that
the winding up of the
old Company would be
begun at once and a
cash dividend of 30%
be paid at once, the
balance (about 30% more)
as soon as possible once
the New Co would be
organized at once
So this matter is practically
settled.
The Florida plantation
I suppose you wish settled
and I have no doubt that
the present occupant will
again offer for it. The
price of course, I cannot
say if fair or not, it
seems all that [Pillot?] has
even been offered for it
and as it pays the
taxes, I suppose you
will let him rent it
as before. I will write
him to get more if he
can.
We will go on to
Dublin tomorrow afternoon
and join the Germanic

at Queenstown on Friday
Helen dreads the voyage
greatly but I trust that
the wind and sea will
be propitious. Of course
you have to expect the
worst at this season.
With much love to
Cousin Jane believe me
Your afft [affectionate?] cousin
Roland Redmond
