Dear Cousin Willie
I enclose you
first for £1034.18/5 particlars
above being for the amount
realized by the sale of the
$5000 N.Y. Cities belonging to Dr.
Saunders. I am sorry to say
that I omitteed to include $62.50
for the interest due Augt 1st
which Mess'r King & Duer collected
& paid me three weeks since.
as ther [there?] will be $62.50 due tommorrow
I will send you the two amts [amounts?]
together. The price of the city
stock seems low but it was
the best offer I could get, after
running around to all the
principal brokers who deal
in such securities.
I spent [two?] days hunting
deer in the [Aderi----k ----?]
but our party [four] only killed
steer. We had bad weather
and I found camp life
rather rough work. I have
had no answer from the
Florida man as yet regarding
the plantation. he may have
been away at the north
we are all quite well which
I trust is the case with you
all. With much love to you
all believe me. Sincerely yours
Wm [William?] Esq Roland Redmond.

P.S. I send you the
second of the Exchange as
unfortunately through a
mistake I tore up the first
not knowing that it was
in the envelop. [envelope?]
