My dear Willie
I have a mortgage
on my house at newport which
I promised to pay on the 1st
July last supposing I should
recieve the legacy Cousin
Rowland left to me before
that time, which legacy the
Trustees & Excutors of my
fathers estate will apply
to that purpose - on application
to Messrs Jas [James?] G Kings Sons I
was informed that the estate
will not be settled before
Nov & as the holder of the
mortgage has consented to
extend the time until 1st
next Oct. I would like to
have the money before that
time.
Will you authorize the
excutors of Cousin Rowland
in this country to pay over
to the trustees & excuters
of my fathers estate £2000,
on a/c being my portion of
the legacy. If you will do
so it will save me much
trouble and expense.
Rolic [?] arrived last Thursday
in time for dinner having
had a pleasent fast trip.

With Kindest remembrance
to your wife I am

Yours very truly
W Redmond

Wm Young Esq
