| Transcript | Atticall July 31st 1880 Dear Brother I received your letter and glad to know that you are all well. I am happy to say that I am a little better but still verry [very?] weak. the plaster that I had on my lip took away the bad place but my mouth still keeps verry [very?] tender. If it pleases god I may recover yet. I am verry [very?] thin lost a deal of flesh. I had a letter from Sally I send on to you. Do not let her know that I Sent it to you. I should like that you all live in harmony With each other for the short time we have to Stay in this world. The crops never looked better than they do this season. They were verry [very?] bad last year therefore there was great distress in this Country last season no fuel no food. Thank god a fine Appearance of a good crop this year. I am verry [very?] glad that you let Brother Bernards estate go through the Priests hands. They can lay nothing to your Charge when it is wound up.
