maison bien monotone ; quand tu
reviendras. J'ai recu une lettre de Sep
ce matin ; Alicia est bien, les dames
pensent revenir le 25 de ce mois. Je
pense, que c'est l'epoque?, ou tu
feras tes preparations, pour revenir.
[Ninede?] vient d'ici, Caroline est mieux ;
elle t'envoie les amities. Arthe l'a
bien recue ; je l'[apure?], que je n'etais
pas, dans mon assiette.
Au revoir ; ma cherie
tache de te fatiguer le moins
possible, et de ne pas fatiguer
Arthe, encore moins.
Je t'embrasse de tout
mon coeur, ainsi que ma chere
petite fille.
Ta mere, qui vous aime

N. O. [New Orleans?] 14 Sep 1891

My Dear Daughter,
I received your
letter of the 10th ; I was sorry that
you are obliged to charge
it seems to me that you must be
too tired to trouble yourself, -- -----,
I am starting to believe, that you are
too difficult to please and that you are already
finding the house boring, when you
return. A received a letter from Sept.
this morning ; Alicia is well, the ladies
are thinking about returning on the 25th of this month ;
I think, that it is about time, that you
make your preparations for returning.
[Ninede?] has just arrived, Caroline is feeling better ;
she sends you her best wishes. [A----?]
has already received ; I [?] , that I was
not feeling like myself.
Goodbye my dear,
endeavour to tire yourself as little
as possible, and don't tire
Arthe so much.
