Dear Brother I took up my pen to Let you
know that I am in Good health at presen[t?] thanks
to the Giver of all Good hoping that this may
find you in the same state Cammell MCurdy [Campbell McCurdy?]
Called in my store this afternoon and told my
young man that he was going in the morning
and if I would write he would Give it your
hand so I commenced having only a few minets [minutes?]
to Do it and to carry it 2 miles I have nothing
Particular to say as I wrote you 2 months ago
and my wife wrote her Grandmother in [torn]

what 2 Damnable rogues John Ewing & John MCannon [McCannon?]
is after me paying part of MCannon [McCannon's]
passage Ewing Bought of every person goods
that would give them to him and among the

him that I would put them both ever from
keeping Shop in this City and So I have

fraud & Pergury [Perjury?] MCannon [McCannon?] is Married to
