Dear Bro

a few weeks ago I was sorry I could not go
to see the "newly weds" the same day I
had promised to go to [Bayville?] so I
could not easily break my word I went up

mentioned I have been around there quite
often

[Page 2]
I have not had a letter from home in
quite a while I see the [they?] celebrated the
12th at Barnscourt [Baronscourt?] I believe our
lodge got an invitation to Ryland for 12 - Aug
I dont know if the [they?] went I have not
heard
Did you see by the papers Coney
Island almost got wiped out by fire about
30 acres burnt they are going to convert
it into a park.

[Page 3]
They have started work on it I saw
some of the sketchs [sketches?] in the paper
what it will look like when completed.
There is two places on Staten Island
something similar to Coney only not on
as large a scale but you see all that is
going around last week I saw 10 [sheep?]
performing on the stage it was all right
to [too?]

[Page 4]
I will send you a postcard
of South Beach or Midland Beach it will
give you an idea what it is like or has
been like this last 2 months the picture
