Dear Jim
Well I have started to write you a good while ago and I expect you have heard all news from Liza by now Cloghog people have disposed of their farm and all for [Auckland?] 28 of April if all be well got above 3 thousand for farm and I cannot say what the [they?] got for cattle horses crop and household effects I expect it raised a good sum Never heard Bob say he was for selling Elkins farm but if I hear it Ill [I’ll?] let you know We have had a mild winter for so far the pear tree is budded and so is the hawthorn ever little snow how are you getting on are you feeling better than you were in Ireland [J C?] is a home for a while I think all the folks feels fine with kind regards to you from all you see when I started
