Well [it?] is thundering and lightning now rain is almost over there are nobody here but Belle and I and the little boy, Uncle and Aunt went out to Leamington yesterday but they were to come back this Evg. [Evening?] again but has nt came yet it is just getting dark, 7.30 o clock We will not get to Church tonight, Jim & a young lady came down from Essex this Evg. [Evening?] Came at about 4 o clock & started again after 5 after supper. She is the name of Green, Jim was at their place for dinner and so he wanted his [tennis?] rack [racket?] from here, So he got their horse & came down. He sent me $10 on Friday to get a new dress [or?] whatever I want to go to Windsor on 26th A great day is [it s?] going to be there. I am not going to get a new dress just now. I am going to get that black striped blouse made that I got in Omagh Belle wants me to get a linen dress for the summer or a muslin, but Jim wants me to get a good one, I have not got a decent one hardly or not the same fashion as they wear them here. Well I suppose you will be thinking how the wedding past off. It was very good not anything extra I mean not much fun everything was swell. There was a (two-three) young [man?] at it, but any amount of girls. One thing I know that if I had been going to a wedding over there I would have thought that the day never would have come, but it never caused me a [thought?] I expected what it would be like. I will send you a paper of it all in it. We got home here at 3 o clock so we did not stay long, they [the?] people here are afraid to lose a nights sleep. We are going to have a great day on Friday 23rd. Empire day. We are going to have a programme in the school from 1 to 4 o cl [o clock?] I have to get up an essay on The Red Crossed Flag. I don t know how I ll manage yet. All the rest is for getting up something so this was left for me We had an hour s picnic back in the woods on Friday Miss Jenner got up her lunch & we all took our dinner & went back to the woods [to?] eat it. Such a crowd of little ones cheering & all sorts. We got flowers and came back. Well I was just thinking yesterday that we have up the churning machine a year now 16 17 & 18th was the days that Russell put it up. It does nt seem so long. Uncle and Aunt has [sic] just came Uncle has got another little colt he has got five horses now. Well I must tell you a story about Willie the little boy (English) that s here He brought in the duck eggs one night and he got a little egg something like a [banty s?] egg. We asked him what kind it was he said it was the drakes. He is a kind of an innocent thing. Uncle has got his picture enlarged life size head & shoulders. or rather it was Belle that got it done, & had it hanging up in the room before he knew anything about it. It is off that little [ones?] that we have or same as we have. It only cost $3 for frame & all. Belle is going to commence house cleaning next week Cass has finished hers. Uncle has not got a buyer [for?] his farm yet, but I think the first chance he gets he ll let it go. Well I suppose the Lisnascreight [Lisnacreaght?] folks are all well I don t know whether I owe her a letter or that she owes me one, but I suppose I will write anyway when I get time. I would like to know if she remembers this time last year when I broke the bowl over her one night & - I must also write [to?] John some day Good Bye hoping all are Well You ----- M.
