We were out to Lillie s Sunday Annie hired a rig so ten of us went It is very nice around here something like home. I had a letter from Liza last night! Alex McKernan is dead. No particular news. There was a spelling match in the Westminister Guild last night I went over but only went to hear the others but all had to get up and spell I stayed up as long as any of them and one word brought the last eight of us down it was consilience I spelled it concillience. We had quite a nice time, I was over to (sic) London Fair Friday but one day was not enough to get around it all. It was something beautiful in the Horticultural Ground.
