Dear Mother & Sister
I had a letter from Moses
in answer to the one which
I sent from Maryhill
on Monday he was offering
to do well - in the Buisness [Business?]
at Toronto the family were
all well the [They?] all Desired to be
remembered to you all
I will write to him by next
mail so if you write a few lines
I will enclose it if it is only
a line send it
the children heare [here?] are
all pretty well - But today
Richard seems to have got
a cold his skin is Burning
and he is unable to keep up
we Removed to a house
in Town ten minuts [minutes?] walk
near the Church in the
Direction of [?]
on Thursday and I suppose
he got cold the [they?] look
very much improved
with being so long in
Seacombe I never had better
health than while there
however I will try this Side
and if it does not do with
us I will go Back
Elen [Ellen?] & James & family are all
well so is Jas [James?] Staunton & family
[Eliza?] will be only too happy
to come to Scotland
this summer if I can
manage to get away
I will Mary Jane is delighted
to get Back to school
at this Side.
I am not doing so much
Buisness [Business?] this Season as last
for so far at the same
time I cannot complain
all Join me in
