I was in hopes & [in?] this you would have met
my brothers wishes in advancing £50 in
addition to yr [your?] advance already made for about
that sum, on account of his wifes demand, for
which you [are?] [--?]. In case you will so far
[serve?] them. I do hereby guarantee you & your
"Heirs for such advance upon said account, a
security perfectly sufficient if you wish to secure
them & oblige me who [is at all?] times ready to
do any service for you, or any of your family, I
send my nephew Wm [William?] Jefferson to you upon this
[business?] only, & hopes you will meet my wishes
for no other ----[tering?] [can?] better success you, than
the present, & in itself the sum is [--------le?]
