| Transcript | S.M THOMPSON Attorney Room K, Maloney Bl'k. Youngstown, O. [Ohio?], September 2nd., 1899 Joshua E.Peel,& Son. Solicitors, Armah [Armagh] County,Ireland. Gentlemen:- Susan McDowell, deceased, who resided at Kingston, Lorinda Park, Ireland, left quite a large estate, and died intestate leaving as her heirs one sister who had nine children. Doctor James T. Moran, deceased; he died intestate and left five children, William B. Moran, living, F.D. Moran, living, Susan Alling living, Annie Alling, living, Kate Moran, living, Eliza and Margaret Moran, living, Alice Smith living, and Jane Alling, deceased, who left four children; also the estate of William and Moses Taylor, brothers of Susan McDowell, and both deceased. I represent Lena Law, one of the children of Doctor James T. Moran deceased, who claims an interest in both these estates. Some of these heirs, have already received money from these estates, but it is claimed that Doctor James T. Moran, died before this sister that had the nine children, and since he died before her death, it is claimed that his children would not inherit. Morrison M. Taylor, son of Robert Taylor, is the administrator, of the estate of Susan McDowell, and William Taylor. His address is, Riversdale Moahill County, Leitrim Ireland. The attorney for the estate is, James A. Denning, Upper Ormond Quay, Dublin, Ireland. William and Moses Taylors' place of business was #119 Francis Street, Dublin, Ireland. This estate has been partly administered, and is worth about 300,000. Would you care to take hold of this matter, and aid me in looking it up? We have no money to spend, and we would have to work on a contingency. I write you, because I did some work for Robert McCreary, and for that reason I prefer you.
