| Transcript | E.M.A Pontiac Dec 17/87 Dear Sister I received your letter yesterday [which?] [is?] [a?] friday and I went to a lecture the Best I ever heard delivered By the Rev Mr Allen on the [faded] the Slave you [faded] now [faded] was with it and there was a [splendid?] Song and old [war?] [----?] Sung the good old Style that pleases me so well well I must tell you of a horrible accident deliberate death I should say a woman patient threw herself down the waitor [waiter?] door two story [storeys?] and was killed immediately She has been known to be a suicidal patient for a long time and took every opportunity to kill herself and to day as I tell you she has succeeded It dont shock me any it is only one more out of suffering. Ill send you the money But I want you if possible if you have chance to give Cabule [Caleb?] what I [----?] along with yours if you cannot let me know ill [I'll?] not be down till the month of March so you need not expect me |
