Dear Sister

In answer to
[-----?] of Tuesday morning
glad to see by it that you
are all fairly well and that
Johnny is keeping on well
also He ought not to
work too hard I think
what Mr Waterson said
is quite true few realized
how very near the end was
and when God in his mercy
restored him he ought to
try and take a little care of
himself hope you and the
children and [Gram?] are all
well too the people about
here have been getting bad
colds dear Annie I did
not want that ten shillings
back that I gave you in June
it was a present but I am
sending you one œ1 now
which I would like to get
back by the 1st of
November It is a great
thing you are [----?] the hay
you will be able to get
the turf home now the
weather is so fine
so now I must close
with much love to all
Your affectionate
Sister Rose.

You might let me have
a line to know that
you get this all
right
