| Transcript | Turbrid Kesh Decr 14th 03 My Dear Sister Just a line in answer to yours of Saturday glad to see by it that you are [still?] fairly well. I am sorry to hear the Baby keeps cross but I think a great deal of it is ones own temper as you say Mrs Stack [Does?] not know of anything I am very sorry [I?] cannot oblige you with the [œ-?] as I can only spare 10S[shillings?] and perhaps that would not be any use to you and as I have only just one œ it would leave me without a penny till February and one never knows what might turn up so if you think the 10S[Shilling?] would be any use to you you can let me have a line by return of post & I will send it to you with pleasure I hope to have George's [Shirt?] ready in a day or so if I were you I would just have no party when you get Baby named as Johnnie & yourself would be quite sufficient Just take him Down on Sunday evening we had Mr A & Miss Waterson [here?] Last Wednesday evening to Dinner & he preached afterward he mentioned in his sermon about a [woman?] who died suddenly on [Monday?] last she had [been?] in Lack [say?] [Dr?] Miss Waterson is [very?] nice looking it was Willie Boss who drove them but I did not see him as I went in to service I was home a week ago yesterday things seem to be going on much as usual Maggie told me the [ATR?] might [yet?] come to service here one [of?] the Wednesday [I?] [did?] [not?] [forget?] her but I am sure the old lady wont let her come They are getting in the stain glass window in the church today [--?] [---?] your [pet?] to [----?] [---?] [----?] They told me last Sunday when at home that Uncle Jamey had written to Mary Glennie to come home. ...Them all dug by this time hope Johhnie & the children are all well did you hear from Will [----?] |
