| Transcript | 18 July 1798 Please inform John, that no vessell [vessel?] has arrived at this port from Dublin this season - of course I have not recieved any linens - H Raines tells me there was a Ship sailed from D [Dublin?] - with convoy - & the fourth day after lost company & has never since been heard of - I trust John had them fully Insured - as their loss would greatly depress me I remain as usual in every situation - Yours truly SEW [Silas E Wier?] [Weir?] |
