Annexed you have copy of mine
of the 7 & 8 Novr [November?] & the first Instant I received
your welcome favor of the 25 Sepr [September?] James
Finlay I always had a partiality for he
has behaved well any little expense you
goe [go?] to for the Pay you mention I shall
be satisfied, his Schooling is the main
thing I thought the Exercise you had woud [would?]
have removed the pain you mention
if its possible you shall be disapointed [disappointed?]
in your Hopes. I am to have a meeting
with Wm [William?] Sadler & the other in a few Days
& by next oppy [opportunity?] you will know the
result. The Ship Brownlow will
sail in about a month for your place
by her shall send you the Flower [flour?] & Aples
[Apples?] the later [latter?] is very [thin?] & a box
of seeds for Mr Isaac. I recd [received?] the Magazines,
I shant [shall not?] neglect writing you often but if I am
not so full by this oppy [opportunity?] you must
impute it to my being a little [rersted?]
by the Conduct of Mr Telthamtoner, he was
here all the Winter & I renderd [rendered?] him every
Act of Politeness in my power and Indorsed [endorsed?]
three bills amounting to œ188.5.0 Sterl [Sterling?]
which he has allowed to be protested &
I have been obliged to take them up.
I have sent them to Mr Morris to try
& find him out & recover the money. I
request youl [you will?] press him to do everything
he can for me, I never was so unfriendly
treated before, however dont let it give
you any uneasiness, he is an acquaintance
of Tom Warders who I am sure will do
me any Service he can. I sent him a piece
of Madeira for the Bishop of Cork by desire
of Feltham. I am with love &c [&c?]
