I am to request from a particular friend of
mine that youl [you will?] inform me how the Pickle
is made for the Beef thats exported from
Ireland as he has a large Stock farm & means
to Slaughter & export the Beef it will oblige
a worthy Gentleman. You are to pay Mary
Ker [Kerr?] nothing further, she's paid alrey
[already?] [--?] [over?] I have paid [Country?] & the other Sister is expected dayly [daily?] as
I coud [could?] not get so good one Exc [Except?] for
a [lull?] on you. I have drawn a small
one on Mrs Bourdons & Co will you therefore
remit them Thirty pounds Britt [British?] on rect
[receipt?] of this, as I write them so I [woud [would?]
not wish to break in upon the Principal of my Stock
I shall want a little Cash when I get to England
for Expenses, I have got the Maryland Bond
[received?] including the Interest, is œ328.3.0
Britt [British?] but was obligd [obliged?] to
give some time for payment & got additional Security
inclosed [enclosed?] is the State of the Debts due by
the Company here which Mr Sadler has forwarded the people
with you, he dayly [daily?] expects full instructions
from them had they left the money the [they?] took
unknown to me & they had recoverd [recovered?] a
Considerable sum more than they ought
prior thereto it woud [would?] have paid all the Debts.
I have one thing to entreat of you & Sisters
not to make yourselves uneasy shoud [should?]
I be detained a little longer than you expected
I can see their motives which shant [shall not?] prevent
it. Tell Mr Isaac that McCormick only
waits for a proper oppy [opportunity?] to send the Girl
home [---?] tho she still refuses to go of her
own accord. Its now thought the new
Constitution for this Country fabricated

Nine States having Adopted it This, Virginia & N [North?]

will have more Energy than the present
one. Rhode Island wont come into it, acquaint
Mr Campbell I have recd [received?] his letter
of the 8th May & shall write him by a vessel that will
sail in a few days for Dublin, [Adeceses?]
of today bring the news that Virginia
has adopted the Constitution & there has
been great rejoicing on this occasion.
I was in hope you had wrote by Capt [Blair?]
or that the May pacquet woud [would?] have arrived
on this. In expectation of soon hearing
from you I am with Love to you & Sisters
