| Transcript | Dear Matty New York 5 Augt 1790 Since writing you the 7 Ulto [make?] a bill [on?] London for œ150 Ster.l [Sterling?] the 2 Inst I rec.d [received?] your welcome favor of the 25 May I think you right about the Money with Mr [---?] but in your own name as as shoud [should?] I have occasion to draw will on you. I am pleased to find the issue of your inquiry [enquiry?] prove so agreeable I [reap?] better than [give?] PC for the Money I paid exclusive of the rise in the funds Please God I got to Europe shall be better able to Judge. It seems of Consequence now to get into the House of [Carns?], in Ireland, from the Names of the People who Addressed Mr Leslie I shoud [should?] think his Interest very considerable, Many People thought Lord Hilsbro [Hillsborough?] woud [would?] not get in as I am still detained here by the Settlement of some affairs which [makes?] me so unhappy that I say as little as I can on the Subject, but shall soon write you further, I am sorry for the Death of Molly Mills with Compl [Compliments?] to all friends & Love to you & our Sisters I am Etc. &c Pacquet [Packet?] Belfast HY [Hamilton Young?] &c Olive Branch |
