My dear Cousins,
Just a lin [line?] to say I am wondering at yu [you?] being
so long in writing for I wrote you in May and sent you three of
Portpatrick views and I hope you have got them. for if not you will
be thinking of me very unkind indeed. I hope that you and all your
family is keeping well and also Fathers folks. I am very anxious to
hear from you if you have time you might drop me a few lins [lines?]
and let me know how you are. All you said in your last letter that
Cousin Samuel was to be home in the summer I hope he is well. What
kind of summer have you for we have had such a wet spring and summer
is not any better for it is nearly wet every day. The Harvest will
be very late this year but the potatoes is very good I will not
write any more at present in the hopes that this will find you all
well as it leaves me and all my folks well in hopes to here from you
soon with very kind love to Fathers folks not forgetting you and all
your family with very kind love to all I remaind [remain?] your
Cousin
