Dear Sir
I am satisfied
that some years ago - one C. Kirk died leaving
money to my father - John Kirk - who is now
dead and I am the oldest son of said
John Kirk - My Grand Father was also named
John Kirk - We lived in parish Anulla [Mullagh?]
County Cavan Ireland. C. Kirk was my Fathers
uncle. made the money in India and
willed it to my father I would be
glad to secure you to look the matter
up and write me what you can learn
of the matter and I will pay you a
per cent or Fixed Fee Let me hear from
you of the prospect and also what will
be the charges Enclosed find papers
of American Consuls &c which may
be of use to you
