Dear Friend
I at last take the pleasure
of writing to you I received your letter
the evening before you intended to come in
the City I am not at the place I was
on Hillis Ave. they think they can do
their own work now for he is out of work
and they could not afford to pay
a girl so I got a place as soon as
she told me she didn't need me any
more. I am now at 63 Tuscola St.
the 2nd house from the Crawford St.
cars. The lady is sick in bed has a
baby. I get $2.50 a week here and
I have to have dinner at 12. o clock.
So I could not meet you on the noon
train and you didnt say in your
letter what time you were going back
in the evening if it was the 5 o clock
or the 9 o clock so I didnt go down.
Why dont Belle write (sic). I have written
two letters to Belle that she has never
answered, if she will write and send
me her photo, I will in return send her
one of mine for I am going down town
to get them tomorrow. I was to get
them the 27 of Dec. but I couldnt get
away to go for them. I received a
large bottle of perfume from Mrs Paull
