| Transcript | Bell i havnt got no ink (Lizzie) Saturday May 22 1886 Dear Cousin Isabella i thought that you had forgotten me for you never answered my last letter and i think that you might write if Aunt has not told you not to wright [write?] to me Because i talked to the [Shady?] Mustache fellow Bella [damaged] lots of fun you and i did Have Especially the Day before i came home i would like to see you real well wheather [whether?] you would see me or not I miss your company i was very sorry to hear that you had to go out amongst strangers to work and leave your Uncle Robert who is doing his work this summer has mary Johnson got there yet how does you and Andrew Get along i heard that you did not use him very well it made me laugh when i heard of it Bell do you Remember the Boys on Billy McClelland Strawstack the day they thrashed what Lots of fun we had waving our hands i heard some thing about Annie but i guess i wont tell it to you i will wait untill [until?] you come up to see me i have been working out in town this spring i got $2.00 a week and my [sowing?] and all the afternoons and savenings [evenings?] to my self i am going again in a week or so i wish that you would come up here to work where i could see you a little oftener that is if you thought that you could get just as good wages but i wouldent [wouldn't?] want you to get lower wages up here i like to live in town far better than in the countary [country?] i bet you would to [too?] you can speak to who you like to in town Bell folks says that i am a great deal taller than i was last summer but i dont think so for i cant see my Brother told me to tell you that he would like to see you real well If you was here he would take you to the fourth of July to the dance Have you seen Henry Cately i am glad Aunt haint [aint?] got him and me to watch this summer dont tell her you got this letter nor see it Well i will bring this scribbling to a close Hoping to hear from you soon I remain your Ever Sincerely Cousin Lizzie Wright [write?] Soon Isabella to Lizzie Miss Lizzie Lucas Corunna Shiawassee Co Michigan U.S.A.
