Dear Sur [Sir?] I now comence [commence?]
to right [write?] you a fue [few?] lines to let you
know that we are all well at presant [present?]
hoping these fue [few?] lines will find
you all well when you right [write?] let
me know Alexander Mars and
Mrs and family is geten [getting?] along I want
him to find out all about Lizzia
Reid for I have rote [wrote?] letters and letters
to hur [her?] and never got any answers
for any of them yet so I hope that
he will obleadge [oblige?] me to find out
what is the reson [reason?] and we send
our kind love tell archey Mars
Mrs and family and tell all the
rest of them all and also let me
know how Jane eerly [Early?] is geten [getting?]
along I would like to here [hear?] how
all the old neighbours is doing
I sure that you would like to know
how we like this country but I
don't like it any better nor when

from my sister Ann [lute?] she don't
