   William was talking of going

to get away we will be glad
to se [see?] Nickey if he thinks of

William he is getting a nice
suit of clothes to go hom [home?] with
he is sailing with uncle William
on the [ada Medora?] he was on
Crawford in the Spring but
the Captain and him fell
out and he left he has got
a good lump of a temper
but he has been a pretty good
boy I give him a talking
to when he dose [does?] anything that
is not right and he would
like to get his money he
wants to buy part of a
schooner I have not near as
good health as I used to have
I will try and get the
Childrens Likeness to send
home to you I be [am?] kept busy
all the time the [there?] are so many
to work after Maggie wants
to be a teacher it i a good paying
trade here My dear Mother
and Sister I am glad to
know you are all well and doing
well Give My love to James
and Mrs and Eliza and
husband and bella and
let me know when you

have been better for her and
husband to come out here
than stayed where she is
this is a cold stormy night
bad times is just coming on
for the poor sailors I will
