Dear Captain
We have arranged to get
the Hesperas fitted out & if you are
not engaged we will be glad if
you can come & take charge of her

like you to come at once, if you
cannot come perhaps you can send
us a good Captain & crew [wages?] as
before. I enclose a cheque for five
pounds for expences here, the
season will close about 2 week of
August as we are going to America
then send me a Telegraph on
receipt saying if you can come
yrs [yours?] truly
[W ------ll?]
