Dear Jim, -
Ruth and I
were talking about old
friends the other night
and this turned my mind
in your direction.

them wary people one would never
imagine would or could be nearly all
those [out?] on relief lost
all or nearly all capital and [income?]

they had the only shop of its kind on
[Ouilletle?] ave - since those days when we [used?]
to frequent the [place?] nearly all the [-----?]
is [in?] that street right up to [Urgenuth?]
my brother Bob is still in practice there
he has three children two boys and a girl
January 1934 I was [appointed?] to this post
in Lanark County. The work is light. you may not
have heard but I had a [bad?] [break?]
with [perivious?] [anaemia?]
and had to give up [practice?] and politics
my present situation suits my physical
needs [well?] We have three children also two
boys and a girl and lovely children
they really are ...
